New Pass

New Pass Project – High Grade Gold

The New Pass Project is a high-grade gold asset located approximately 40 km west of the regional centre of Austin, Nevada. The project benefits from excellent access and infrastructure, being reached via 37 km of paved State Highway 50 from Austin, followed by 8 km of well-maintained gravel road. The project comprises 188 contiguous 20-acre claims covering a total area of approximately 15 km².

New Pass is situated within the northwest-trending Austin Trend, a highly prospective structural corridor located south of and parallel to the prolific Carlin and Battle Mountain Trends of central Nevada. The project is prospective for both vein style gold mineralisation and jasperoid-hosted Carlin-style systems, providing multiple exploration opportunities within a single mineralised district.

At the centre of the project lies the historic New Pass Mine, which has produced gold at an estimated average grade of approximately 17 g/t Au from two north–south striking quartz veins. Historical mining by private operators is estimated to have yielded approximately 40,000 ounces of gold. Importantly, mineralisation remains open along strike and at depth, with approximately 6.5 km of largely unexplored, structurally prospective strike extending across the project. Much of this trend is concealed beneath thin post-mineral cover, which has limited systematic exploration to date.

Multiple mineralised centres occur at New Pass, including the Superior, Thomas West and Valley View mines, as well as several untested prospects such as Julie, Lander, True-Blue and Wildcat veins. The broader system displays strong characteristics of a large-scale epithermal gold system, with extensive argillic alteration and associated geochemical anomalies. A significant zinc anomaly located approximately 1 km northwest of the main mining centre represents an immediate high-priority exploration target.

Recent underground sampling from remnant mineralisation within the Superior Vein, particularly along Superior Adit 4, has returned multiple ore-grade results ranging from 2.1 g/t to 20.1 g/t Au. These results confirm the presence of high-grade mineralisation beyond historically mined zones and support the potential for repeatable, bonanza-grade shoots within the system.

Sierra Nevada Gold is advancing a dual-track strategy of underground drilling and trial mining to rapidly assess and unlock value at New Pass. Planned underground drilling will test the continuity, geometry and plunge of high-grade shoots from existing workings, enabling more precise targeting and efficient resource definition. In parallel, a proposed trial mining program will look to extract and process a bulk sample to validate grade, metallurgy and mining characteristics, while assessing the potential for near-term cash flow.

With existing permits, established underground access and a clear pathway toward near-term drilling and trial mining, New Pass represents a compelling high-grade gold opportunity in one of the world’s premier mining jurisdictions.
